Hydraulics, Inc. fluid conducting swivel joints described in this website include the most complete range of swivel joint sizes and configurations available for use in fluid power systems. Considerable attention is placed on swivel types, geometric relations, and their inclusive combinations of connectors for SAE and/or ISO fluid ports. Where swivels are required, the long standing variety offered by Hydraulics, Inc., provide system developers the opportunity to select swivels having geometric relations of fluid ports that compliment the movement between a systems fluid ports. These products offer designers an opportunity to improve existing concepts and take a different approach to new equipment design.
Application
The carbon steel swivels listed herein, encompass a broad range of accepted flow volume, variety of port types, and pressure ratings as high as 6,000 psi. These attributes make Hydraulics, Inc. swivels suitable for use in many fluid power systems. Beginning in 1966, the swivel design has proven successful throughout a broad variety of fluid systems. The same standards of dependability and quality that have been a company tradition since 1955 are prevalent in these products.
CAUTION!
Do not attempt to disconnect and disassemble swivels under pressure. Do not remove the swivel barrel from stem while under pressure. Do not attempt to operate damaged swivels and do not operate swivels displaying fluid leak and/or obvious bearing wear. The pressure rating of the selected swivel, in assembly with it's attached components, should not exceed the lowest of the assembled component's pressure rating.
